Intensive work after the win in the German round of the GT Open: on June 11 and 12 the Italian squad will test in Budapest with Andrea Montermini and Juan Manuel Lopez with their Ferrari 458 GT2

Budapest (Hungary), June 11, 2012. A new test session for the aabar Abu Dhabi Villorba racing with Ferrari Team is about to start. With its race drivers Andrea Montermini e Juan Manuel Lopez the Italian squad, led by Raimondo Amadio, gets back on track for a test session at the Hungaroring on June 11 and 12 to continue the development work on its Ferrari 458 GT2 in preparation for the next rounds of the 2012 International GT Open.

At this point of the season and after the exciting win at the Nurburgring the decision of two intensive days of testing highlight the will and the consequent work of the whole team to recover positions in the standings as soon as possible. From today on the main goal in Budapest is to keep on working for a technical refinement of the supercar from Maranello and its adjustments while allowing Lopez, back with Amadio from Argentina after some promotional events, to learn the track where he will debut in the GT Open round scheduled for September 9.

“Two days of work - said Andrea Montermini - will be useful as they will enable us to test quietly getting a deep analysis of the data which is crucial with such a powerful and complex GT car. Furthermore, if the weather is good, this will be our first test session in dry conditions since the start of the season.”
