Round 3: Larkhall, 9-10 June
Scotsman Dean Macdonald snatched the championship lead for the first time with a pair of victories at his home track of Larkhall.
Zak Fulk shadowed Macdonald throughout the first final but every time he nosed ahead Macdonald swiftly fought back. Despite Fulk’s best efforts in the final couple of corners, Macdonald’s local knowledge paid off as he placed his kart in just the right place every time.
Macdonald then cruised to his second win of the weekend in dominant fashion, having paced qualifying and won both his heat races to seal pole position.
