Treviso (Italy), June 13, 2012. The aabar Abu Dhabi Villorba racing with Ferrari Team has successfully completed a two-day test session at the Hungaroring on June 11 and 12. The Italian squad led by Raimondo Amadio carried out an intensive work with Andrea Montermini and Juan Manuel Lopez behind the wheel of their Ferrari 458 GT2 in preparation for the next rounds of the 2012 International GT Open.
The aabar Abu Dhabi Villorba tested in Hungary with alternating weather conditions, but it still allowed to carry out of what has been planned for the test session in both wet and dry conditions. Equally divided, both race drivers run a hundred laps and together they gathered very important information about the set-up.
“I am satisfied - said Lopez - because I drove many kilometres with the opportunity to also learn a new track and to try different solutions on the set-up. The test also was very useful in view of Spa because it provided us with lots of information about all the weather conditions we could find in Belgium.”
From June 22 to 24 the third round of the GT Open is to be held in Spa where the Italian squad aims to confirm the good results of the weekend at the Nurburgring.
