Motors TV Weekly Highlights 23rd to 29th June

LIVE NASCAR Nationwide Series The first non-oval event of this year's NASCAR Nationwide Series is a trip to the stunning Road America facility in Wisconsin. 1997 Formula One champ Jacques Villeneuve joins the action aboard a Penske-run Dodge and, with his extensive road course experience, the Canadian will be looking to take the fight to the regular front-runners.            - Saturday, 23 June 8.30pm  LIVE Grand-Am  Grand-Am joins Nationwide on the Road America bill to contest the seventh round of its 2012 campaign. Despite not yet taking a win this year, multiple series champions Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas top the standings ahead of the event, with Action Express Racing's David Donohue and Starworks pairing Ryan Dalziel and Enzo Potolicchio leading the chasing pack.- Saturday, 23 June 5.00pm   LIVE Formula 2 Though he didn't take a win last time out in Germany, Luciano Bacheta still holds a healthy advantage atop the Formula 2 standings. The series now travels to Spa for rounds seven and eight of the campaign where the likes of Christopher Zanella and teenage sensation Matheo Tuscher will lead Bacheta's pursuers.

- Saturday, 23 June 12.50pm (Race 1)- Sunday, 24 June 1.05pm (Race 2)  LIVE International GT Open  With two rounds and four races down the crack Manthey Porsche pairing of Marco Holzer and Nick Tandy currently head the International GT Open standings. Next up is a trip to Spa where fellow Porsche outfit IMSA Performance will be hoping to make a dent in the German squad's lead.- Saturday, 23 June 1.50pm (Race 1)- Sunday, 24 June 11.45am (Race 2)   LIVE European F3 Open The wonderfully named Gianmarco Raimondo currently heads the European F3 Open standings after claiming a win and a runner-up finish last time out in Germany and, as the action moves to Spa, he'll be looking to extend his advantage over Swede Mans Grenhagen. Meanwhile Kevin Giovesi tops the Copa class following a string of impressive results.

- Saturday, 23 June 3.20pm (Race 1)- Sunday, 24 June 10.50am (Race 2)  Italian Superbike Championship  The Italian Superbike series that spawned the likes of two-wheel racing legend Valentino Rossi and the late Marco Siomoncelli travels to the Mugello circuit for five delayed-as-live races on Motors TV. Action comes from the Stock 1,000, Stock 600, Superbike, 125 GP and 600 SS classes.
