Round 4: Lovell Rally of the Midlands, 22-23 June

Damian Cole increased his championship lead with victory on round four of the championship, the Rally of the Midlands.

Apart from slipping one second behind Steve Simpson after the second run round Mallory Park, Cole and co-driver James Morgan led the event from start to finish. Simpson and co-driver Patrick Walsh had a few problems with their Subaru Impreza WRC, eventually finishing a minute and a half behind the winners.

The Darrian T90 GTR of Washington James took a fine third place, while Gary Le Coadou and Paul Hollingham netted fifth in their first championship round of the season.
