Home hero Antonio Pizzonia is the latest addition to the Auto GP grid for the Curitiba event: the Brazilian driver will take part in the first overseas round of the Series taking the wheel of the #23 car lined-up by Ombra Racing.
The 31 year-old from Manaus brings to the Italian team the talent and the experience of a driver that starred in all the top notch single seaters categories, as he starred in F1 (driving for Jaguar and Williams from 2003 to 2005), Champ Car and GP2.
Now a star in the Brazilian Stock-Car championship, the Copa Caixa Stock Car, for his single-seater comeback Pizzonia aims to thrill the home crowd and give the Auto GP regulars a hard-time, even if he knows that it wont be an easy task because Auto GP boasts some of the most interesting talents around.His weekend will start on Friday at 10 o' clock with the first Free Practice session, followed by the second one at 1PM. The grid for Race 1 will then be decided at 4.30PM with 30 of Qualifying. Sunday will host the first race of the weekend at 2.45 PM, while Race 2 will start at 11 AM on Sunday.
