Round 5: Hartlepool Championship Autotest, 21 July

Defending champion and championship leader Steven Ferguson took a dominant victory in the Hartlepool Championship Autotest at Seaton Carew.

Richard Pinkney, in the Caterham, was unable to challenge for the win, but second overall and a strong class win kept him in touch of Ferguson in the title fight.

Round 6: Fern Furnishing Alwoodley Autotest, 22 July

Richard Pinkney set a blistering pace on the Alwoodley Autotest to seal his second win of the year, while Steven Ferguson uncharacteristically picked up a couple of penalties.

David Thompson found form to take a class win and return to the top three in the championship standings. Paul Mooney would have challenged for the class but picked up a maximum time after a driveshaft failure.
