Round 7: HCC Wales Car Trial, 22 July

Barrie Parker won the HCC Wales Car Trial under glorious sunshine on Sunday.

Parker slowly extended his class lead over Nick Pollitt throughout the day, increasing his championship lead in the process. The front-wheel-drive class featured the battle of the day, with Neil Mackay, Rupert North and John Moffatt all taking turns in the lead before Moffatt sealed the win.

Dave Oliver took a big win in the high modified class but could only manage second overall and remains third in the championship.
