The Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 of Matthias Racing took its debut win at the weekend in the Brazilian Top Series. The car driven by Xandinho Negrao and Xandy Negrao started on pole and was never threatened during the three hour race. The team are now joint overall leaders of the championship after three rounds.
Villois Racing has also provisonally won the second race in its Vantage GT3 in the Super GT Class in the Open GT Championship at Paul Ricard (pending an appeal). Matteo Malucelli and Alvaro Barba took the lead in the closing laps and following their debut win at the previous round at Brands Hatch, now provisionally lead the series.
In GT4, Mathol Racing won the latest round of the SP10 class of the VLN at the Nurburging. The victory strengthens Wolfgang Weber, Norbert Bermes and Marcel Belka's lead in the class after six rounds.
