Now we have brought in a new, dynamic manager who will have his own ideas and we want everyone to get behind him.(SPEEDWAY 2)

BERWICK will have two new reserves on show for three meetings in three days this week. The Bandits have brought in Klaus Jakobsen and Robert Branford, having had to make changes following injuries initially to Alex Edberg and then Jason King.Manager Ian Rae said: Klaus has raced in the UK before, mostly with Stoke but also at Birmingham and Sheffield. He comes into the squad, along with young Rob, for our three away fixtures this week at Ipswich, Scunthorpe and Leicester.Rob has been scoring well for Buxton in the National League, and as he has been over here since he turned 16, hes got a good bit of UK experience.(SPEEDWAY 3)

DUDLEY made it nine wins out of nine in the National League with an emphatic 61-29 triumph at the Isle of Wight on Tuesday.Skipper Adam Roynon broke the track record on his way to a maximum, with Byron Bekker and Tom Perry combining for four 5-1s and dropping just a point apiece, putting the Heathens six-points clear at the top of the table.Manager Will Pottinger said: Im delighted with that performance from the lads. Every one of them were superb, and Adam was in a different class and achieved another track record despite having a bike problem!Stoke and Mildenhall in August are going to be tough tests, but we cant wait for those meetings now.

AUSTRALIAN stars Chris Holder and Darcy Ward have signed up to ride in Simon Steads Testimonial at Swindon on August 16.The Poole duo join Nicolai Klindt, Joe Screen, Tai Woffinden, Oliver Allen and Matej Zagar in the field, with the full line-up to be revealed shortly.Stead said: Chris and Darcy are 100% excitement every time they ride and it's great that they will be there.I know them both quite well and they're great lads, once I asked them to ride they had no hesitation in accepting and they'll both be up there on the night I'm sure. I think if you add Chris and Darcy to the likes of Zagar and Woffinden, as well as some of the other riders who will be there, it's going to be an awesome meeting.(SPEEDWAY 5)

TY Proctor has added his name to the line-up for the Matthew Wethers Testimonial at Edinburgh on August 17.Proctor and Wethers were part of the same Wolverhampton squad in 2010, and Proctor will race at Armadale despite a busy schedule with also includes an Elite League match at Eastbourne the following evening.Proctor said: Ive known his parents better than Ive known Matthew but over the years Ive got to know Matthew too. When he was doubling up with Wolverhampton he used to come and do his bikes at our house so weve spent a lot of time together.Ive got a lot of respect for Matt. Theres not a lot of riders who can do ten years at one club, and I think a lot of youngsters should look at himthats the way to be. If Matt had been rubbish he would not have been there for ten years, thats for sure.
