Round 2: Silverstone, 10-11 May

Aston Martin Vantage duo Paul Bailey and Andy Schulz overcame wet conditions at Silverstone to take victory.

The race started under the Safety Car and was blighted by intermittent showers. Pole-sitter and early leader John Martin, debuting Nigel Mustills Riley MkXXII, retired the car with waterlogged electrics. A similar problem afflicted the front-running Mosler of Javier Morcillo and Manuel Citrano, who finished seven laps down.

The Marcus Clutton/Jordan Witt Chevron GT3 had a brief spell in the overall lead, as did the Webb brothers Class 3 BMW,  which eventually finished second overall after trading places with the Porsche 997 of Class 2 victors Ian Loggie and Chris Jones.
