Peter Smallwood will be the top scorer in the Pro-Am2 category of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB this season after a brace of wins at Silverstone on Sunday (29 September) with the Parr Motorsport squad.Smallwood made a mighty effort to race at Silverstone by commuting from his new home in Canada for the race weekend and plans to return to the UK to race again in 2014. Although he has only contested selected race weekends this season, Smallwood now cannot be caught by main Pro-Am2 rival Will Goff (Goff Racing) even though Smallwood will not be able to contest the final two races at Brands Hatch (12/13 October). He has taken five wins and two seconds in Pro-Am2 this year after stepping up from the 2012 GT3 Cup Challenge.Smallwood, originally from near Towcester, emigrated to Manitoba with his family in August but still plans to race his 911 GT3 Cup car when possible. The newly-announced Le Mans support race in June 2014 is high on his list of priorities for next season.
