Court decision excludes both Romeo Ferrari cars from 2013 Donington Superstars

AFTER THE PENALTY, THE 2013 SALVATORE GENOVESE TITLE FOR TEAMS GOES TO AUDI SPORT ITALIA

The FIA International Court Of Appeal delivered a decision featuring the exclusion of the two Mercedes C63 AMG fielded by Team Romeo Ferraris and driven by Thomas Biagi and Vitantonio Liuzzi from the two Donington Park races that were part of the 2013 Superstars International Series calendar.

An irregularity to the undertray of both two cars had been observed after having been pointed out by Audi Sport Italia, and a complaint was lodged at the end of the weekend. Following to the penalty assessed to the Romeo Ferraris team - and that led to the loss of 20 points as prescribed by the rules - Audi Sport Italia claimed first place in the teams standings, and can be declared the 2013 Teams Champion.

The drivers standings are unchanged despite the 20 additional points lost by both the Romeo Ferraris drivers.
