Tough GP3 weekend for Agostini at the Hungaroring

In the fifth round of the GP3 Series Agostini has been beset by set-up problems since Friday - problems which have not only affected him but also his team mates Sebastian Balthasar and Nelson Mason despite all the efforts of the Hilmer Motorsport team.

18th in the qualifying, the young Italian held his position in Race 1 and finished 19th in Race 2. In summary it has been an difficult weekend.

At this, the mid-point of the season, Agostini has completed a  series of top-10 finishes, including the fifth and the sixth places scored at Silverstone at the beginning of the month, and so is doubly disappointed with the Hungarian results

The potential of the Italian driver remains however “unscratched” and Riccardo is looking positively towards the next round on the exciting but difficult track of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, on the 22nd and the 23rd of August, as usual during the same weekend of the F1 Grand Prix.
