It was a successful weekend for Josh Daley Racing team at round seven of the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park. Racing in the Evo Championship he secured an eighth and fourth in the two races.

Josh is competing in his first year of the Championship and he celebrated his 18th Birthday at the track on Sunday. Every session big progress was made and Josh decreased his time on every outing. He qualified seventh in the Evo class and 21st on the main grid, but struggled a little in the sprint race but still finished eighth after the 10 laps.

Josh ended up in 23rd place for the main race on Sunday, a whole new paint design for the race as they were supporting the 'Joining Jack' appeal. This fund has been set up to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Jack Johnson is the son of former Wigan Warrior, Andy Johnson who was diagnosed with DMD at the age of four. Jack is now six and attended his first race meeting with Daley Racing at Oulton Park today, Josh ran the full colour scheme on his bike for the charity to raise their awareness. - www.joiningjack.org

Josh was happy to see the rain on Sunday as always races well in it; he got a good time in the warm up and was eager for a strong result. Josh ran with all the Evo riders for the majority of the race and was the fastest Evo rider out on track. He gained a great fourth place in the Evo class and now moves to Cadwell feeling confident.

Josh Daley - "I am really pleased with this weekend, I struggled a bit in the sprint race which put me in 23rd place for the main feature race. I got a good first lap in the race on Sunday and managed to stay clear from the first lap chaos. I managed to put in the fastest Evo lap of the race I was just a little gutted I couldn't reward myself and my Mum with a Birthday podium!
