Long-term partnership for ADAC entry-level formula series commencing in 2015 Tatuus will be supplying chassis for the new ADAC Formula 4 series from the 2015 season onwards. The ADAC decided on the Italian manufacturer after long and intense deliberation. In the end, we came down clearly in favour of signing up Tatuus as our partner." Tatuus began designing and building chassis for various racing series in 1980. Since the start of the 2014 season, the Italian manufacturer has supplied the Italian F.4 championship with Type F.4 T-014 cars. The Italian Formula 4 series is the first in the world to be contested under the new Formula 4 regulations drawn up by the FIA. The chassis built by Tatuus meets the stringent safety requirements of the FIA. ADAC Formula 4 replaces Formel ADAC as the entry-level series to single-seater racing with effect from the 2015 season. In a demonstration staged by ADAC at the Slovakia Ring two weeks ago, the managers of the current Formel ADAC teams had the opportunity to form an initial impression of a racing car built on a Tatuus chassis.
