Monteiro returns to the German VLN Endurance in readines for 2015 WTCC

Three weeks after their first participation in the German VLN Endurance Championship, Tiago Monteiro and his teammate Gabriele Tarquini, will return to the legendary Norschleife circuit on September 13th. For their second trial in this category, the duo will be behind the wheel of the Honda Civic that currently participates in the World Touring Car Championship.

Just like their discovery of the VLN almost a month ago, the aim of this weekend is to gather data to help prepare them for Honda's debut on the legendary complex circuit in the 2015 World Touring Car Championship.

"After the first race we were able to get an idea of the settings to favor our participation here next year," Tiago explained, "This time we will go one step further: we intend to continue our learning, but our main goal is to adapt the Honda Civic to the track requirements in preparation of 2015."

The first visit for Tiago Monteiro / Gabriele Tarquini on the Nordschleife circuit back on August 23rd were very productive with pole position in their category and a great fight for victory until they were hit by a fellow competitor and forced out of the race.
