Sept 20, 2013 – Tom Kristensen, Loïc Duval and Allan McNish took their third victory of the 2013 FIA WEC season winning by 33 seconds over Toyota Racing and extending their championship lead on their way to the world title. The No.26 G-Drive Racing ORECA 03 Nissan took its second consecutive victory in the LMP2 category in the hands of Mike Conway-Roman Rusinov-John Martin. Fred Makowiecki and Bruno Senna were dominant in the No.99 Aston Martin Vantage V8 in LMGTE Pro, despite being put under pressure throughout by the Ferraris. A late-race challenge for the lead of LMGTE Am by Jamie Campbell-Walter rewarded the No.96 Aston Martin Vantage V8 with its second win of the year with Stuart Hall.

2014 The 2014 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas is the first of five races outside of Europe.

2014 The 2014 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas will be the 20th race held in the FIA WEC since the championship began in March 2012. The first race was also held in the USA, the 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida on the 18 March 2012.
