Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS announces 2015 calendar

NEW FORMAT AND SEVEN VENUES

With the 2014 season just over and the young Koiranen GP Nyck de Vries crowned as 2014 Champion, the Series is already looking forward to what is about to come in 2015.

The Series will still be articulated in seven of the most prestigious tracks Europe-wide. The 2015 season will kick off from Imola (12 April), to than move to France on the street circuit of Pau (10 May). New venue in May (24) to be held in Austria on the prestigious Red Bull Ring that starting from this year is once more part of the F1 circus, as Spa-Francorchamps, where the Fast Lane Promotion Series will be back on the 7th of June, and just before the short summer break Monza, Italy, (5 July). The cars will be back on track in Mugello on the 6th September while the date in October, as well as the track hosting the final venue has still to be defined.

The new 2015 format will foresee for the rounds in Red Bull Ring, Monza e Mugello two 60’ free practice sessions, two qualifying sessions of 15’ each and three races (25’ plus a lap). In Imola, Pau, Spa, and for the final round the format will still include two 60’ free practice sessions, two qualifying sessions of 15’ each, but two 25’ plus a lap races.
