P7 - SERGIO CANAMASAS
Today Sergio was an author of a fantastic Feature Race that allowed the Team to earn important points for the Final Championship Classification, but above all was finally repaid for the consistency and hard work brought forth by the driver and his technical group. Differently from the last race where the Catalano driver, for a series of issues, was not able to collect the hoped for results, this weekend in Russia quickly started off on the right foot: yesterday's qualifying session allowed the team to collect important data in order to obtain the 12th place position that thanks also to the race direction who gave some penalties after qualifying, became a 10th place position; the choice regarding the set of tires to put on in order to follow a less risky strategy resulted in being the right one; the pitstop carried out by the mechanics was one of the best; besides this, Canamasas knew how to manage his car for the entire race being able to carry out some overtakes without taking too many risks. We hope in a good result in tomorrow's race where Sergio will start from the first row.

P20 - JOHNNY CECOTTO
Contrary to what happened to his teammate, for Johnny, everything turned for the worst. Right from qualifying the Venezuelan driver had a problem with his rear tyre and was able to only take advantage of one set of tyres that obviously conditioned his race result today. Starting indeed from the 9th row, Cecotto lost several positions at the start of the race, where he tried to recover some ground but the one-seater struggled to gain rhythm. In addition, the safety car that came out during the 7th lap was not what was hoped for given the strategic choice to put prime tyres on and therefore postpone the pitstop in the second part of the race. Despite the fact that after the stop the car registered lap times which were one of the best in the group, Johnny passed the chequered flag in the 20th position which surely does not help the race tomorrow. It is a real pity to not have collected fundamental points for the final classification and the team is already working hard for the next race.
