Trident GP3 Sochi Race 2 round up

P9 - PATRICK KUJALA

Patrick drove a superb race where, starting from 13th position, he was able to make up several positions reaching P7 which could have brought home some points.

Unfortunately a few laps from the end Kujala began to feel a mechanical problem which resulted in a lack of Championship points. The Finnish driver's determination and consistency were worthy of a better placement. The Team is already concentrating on the next race in Abu Dhabi in order to obtain a better performance

Final Position: P9Starting Position: P13Position after 1°lap: P10

P14 - MITCHELL GILBERT

The race today saw Mitch start from the back rows but after the accident which took place during the first lap and the red flag that suspended the race for several minutes, the Australian driver found himself in the 15th position.

At the restart of the race he was able to maintain his position. The race continued fluidly and clean with race times enabling him to make up a position. Unfortunately starting from the back row makes it difficult to obtain a better result and as for his teammate, Trident are already working on the lap performance in view of the next race.
