Euronova Racing has confirmed that Shinya Michimi will return to the Auto GP Championship for the final round at Estoril this weekend. Michimi will take the wheel of the number 15 car for the third time this year following extremely positive performances earlier in the season at Monza and the Red Bull Ring.

Vincenzo Sospiri: “Shinya impressed everyone earlier this year and it was clear from the start that he had raw talent. He’s been working hard on his fitness with us here in Forlì over the last few weeks and I’m looking forward to seeing him in our car at Estoril”.

Shinya Michimi: “I'm really looking forward to racing again in Europe with Euronova Racing. We know that we have the speed to be running in the top 3 so our goal is to try and get a podium finish for the weekend. I've been training hard over the past few months to prepare, and I feel confident heading into the weekend. I'd like to thank Euronova Racing, Plan Z, Ramblas, Arai Helmet, Go Designs, Nitro, Real Power, Perfect Shine, and Tailor & Cutter for giving me the opportunity to race this coming weekend. Similarly my weekend will be dedicated to my grandfather who passed away last week”.
