Auto GP looks forward to 2015

Full-season budget set to 400.000€ 2015 drivers' champion to get F1 test

The AUTO GP series, promoted by Enzo Coloni, has many news and innovations already in the bag for the 2015 season, the sixth since its inception. The championship already brought to the top of the motorsport panorama names like Romain Grosjean, Kevin Ceccon, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, Vittorio Ghirelli and fresh 2014 Auto GP Champion Kimiya Sato. For the next year, a major new chapter will be represented by the upgrades that will enable the car to be one and a half seconds faster than the current

version. Second, but by no means less important, will be the total cost of the 2015 season, set in only 400.000€.

With seven rounds on the schedule, AUTO GP will present itself to the motorsport business as the best championship in terms of performance/budget ratio. In addition to the new elements for the next season, the partnerships established so far will be extended: AUTO GP will continue to be the Official Support Series of the FIA WTCC, in a relationship lasting from 2010, and will continue partnering worldwide TV network EUROSPORT. The rounds will once again benefit from live TV coverage to repeat the 2014 success, when millions of fans were holding their breath until the last lap of the last race.

Last but not least, the prize set for the 2015 Champion will be amazing, as he will be awarded a Formula 1 test with a top team.

Enzo Coloni: “We worked really hard to make AUTO GP the best possible choice by improving the car's performance, consolidating the media exposure thanks to the partnership with EUROSPORT and optimizing once again the budget needed. All these feature will be available to the young drivers aiming to make the step to Formula 1: and the 2015 Auto GP drivers' Champion will be off to a great start with a prize test with one of the F1's top teams. In order to support that program, we decided to make our dynamic simulator, which was validated by the best drivers and engineers over the last four years, available for the competitors. Specifically developed for the AUTO GP Series and to prepare for the step to Formula 1, the simulator, located in our headquarters, will be open to teams and drivers to provide them with a better preparation for the upcoming 2015 season”.
