Bumper weekend of motorsport on BT Sport

This weekend BT Sport brings motorsport fans a packed weekend of racing action including the first ever live broadcast of the Macau GP on British television. In addition, BT Sport will be live from the final leg of this year’s FIA World Rally Championship at the Wales Rally GB and two special editions of Motorsport Tonight bringing racing fans the best of BT Sport’s motorsport from 2014 with a studio packed full of top name guests.

Saturday 15th November

BT Sport 2 – 05:45 - 06:45 - Macau GP F3 – Qualifying Race

The weekend starts with the Macau GP F3 qualifying race live on BT Sport 2 from China. Multiple current & former Formula One drivers have participated in a street circuit perceived as one of the most challenging in the world.

BT Sport 2 – 07:30 - 08:30 - Macau Motorcycle GP

Following the F3 race is the Macau Motorcycle GP. Last year’s Winner Ian Hutchinson will be looking to beat off stiff competition from the likes of Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness at this prestigious event. The annual event, now in its 61st year, is the only one where fans can see both car and motorcycle races at the same time.

BT Sport 2 – 16:30 - 20:30 - Motorsport Tonight Special

Motorcycling legend and six time Macau winner Ron Haslam and his son, World Superbike star, Leon Haslam, and British MotoGP rider Scott Redding are amongst the guests joining Abi Griffiths at the BT Sport studio to discuss the Macau Motorcycle GP and look back on the MotoGP and World Superbike seasons. Also appearing will be three time World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx MBE, Johnny Mowlem and David Brabham reflecting on the Macau GP F3 qualifying race and the different Touring Car seasons. We then look back on the World Rally Championship season and go live to Iwan Thomas at the Wales Rally GB for the latest updates following the first two days of top class rally action.

More live race action from Macau as the GT Asia season comes to a close.

BT Sport 2 - 07:30 - 08:30 Macau F3 GP

The live main event in Macau as Formula 3 champions and drivers around the world take on one of the most demanding circuits. Reaching up to 171mph drivers will have to battle the fast straights and tight corners to become the 2014 Macau champion. This is the first time the Macau Grand Prix has been covered live on British TV.

BT Sport 2 – 11:45 - 13:30 - World Rally Championship

The Welsh forests welcome a star-studded 160-car entry into Wales Rally GB, for the 13th and final round of the 2014 FIA World Rally Championship with the Power stage shown exclusively live on BT Sport. Newly crowned 2014 World Champion Sebastien Ogier and British motorsport stars Kris Meeke and Elfyn Evans will all be vying for the prestigious British victory. BT Ambassador, and former Ashes-winning England off-spinner, Graeme Swann will also join racing superstars as he competes in a Ford Fiesta R2 in the national section of the rally for the M-Sport team.

BT Sport 2 – 16:15 – 20:00 – Motorsport Tonight Special

Abi Griffiths is joined in the studio by 20 big names from the world of motor-racing as we look back on a host of championships including World Series by Renault, Formula 3 , GT, DTM, IndyCar and NASCAR. We’ll also be showing highlights of the Macau F3 Grand Prix. Studio guests will include British racing driver Katherine Legge who this year became the first female driver in the new all-electric FIA Formula E Championship, DTM driver Gary Paffett and Formula 1 test driver Will Stevens .
