RX Lites, which features at selected rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, will run a test day next month for drivers who are considering new opportunities ahead of the 2015 season.

Following the recent announcement of the 2015 event schedule, the RX Lites promoter, FirstCorner Management, will host the test for drivers interested in experiencing an RX Lites car on Monday 15 December. The test will be held at the acclaimed new rallycross track at Istanbul Park, which recently hosted the final event in the 2014 RX Lites Cup.The full RX track will be used in order to give the feeling of the car on both gravel and asphalt surfaces. Participants will have the opportunity to try different settings to test the reaction of the car and different characteristics on mixed surfaces.FirstCorner will also offer the opportunity to host a city tour on Sunday 14 December for those who would like to see the historic city of Istanbul.As a single-spec formula, RX Lites entrants compete in identical 310bhp, all-wheel-drive, rear-engined machinery and costs are kept strictly to a minimum.
