Luke Mossey steps up to BSB with Quattro Plant TECcare Kawasaki

After a very successful weekend at the Race of the Year at Mallory Park a month ago, riding with the Quattro Plant Kawasaki Superbike team Luke Mossey is delighted to announce he will step up the main MCE British Superbike Championship with them for 2015 supported once again by his loyal sponsor TECcare.

Luke had a strong season in the British Supersport Championship despite missing rounds through injury at the start of the year. He secured eight podiums this year and the 22-year-old feels he is now ready for a new challenge and is moving up to the main MCE British Superbike series.

He will join Howie Mainwaring as his team mate and the pair will ride the Kawasaki ZX-10R throughout the season on the Quattro Plant TECcare Kawasaki Team. Luke from Royston, Cambridge had some good results in tricky conditions at Mallory Park but loved the experience on the bigger machine.

Luke Mossey - "I am so excited about this opportunity to race in the Superbike Championship with the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team and I would like to thank Pete Extance for giving me this great chance. I feel I am now at the right age to step up and learn more, a huge thank you also to Ray Stringer for putting my name forward for the ride.

A huge thank you must go to John and Chris Evans from TECcare as they have agreed to support me next year in the Superbike class and I hope I can repay them with some good results for all the effort they have put into me over the year. I must also thank all my other sponsors who have backed and supported me over the years and I just can't wait to get going now."

Pete Extance - Team Owner - "Luke is a welcome addition to the Quattro Plant squad and it is great we can introduce his personal sponsors of TECcare to join us for 2015. Luke will embark on a testing programme, beginning in January and should lead him to a strong position come the first round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Donington Park."
