Motors TV Weekend Highlights December 6,7‏

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Motors TV, with motorsport treats aplenty just for you this weekend on The High Speed Television Channel.Our first gift is a trip to sunny Australia for V8 Supercars around the streets of the Sydney Olympic Park. Jamie Whincup may have clinched a record sixth championship at Philip Island, but there will still be stacks of wheel-to-wheel action as the rest of the field battle it out for their place in the final standings. Mark ‘Frosty’ Winterbottom will be fighting to secure his second place in the drivers’ championship at what is effectively his home race. The 500km street circuit will also see the return of Marcos Ambrose who, after nine years racing in NASCAR, is making a comeback to Australia’s premier touring car series.We’ve also got live coverage from the 2014 Ferrari Finali Mondiali which takes place at Abu Dhabi’s spectacular Yas Marina circuit this weekend. We’re showing highlights from the explosive season finale at Interlagos on Sunday, which sees Toyota battling with Audi for the Manufacturers’ title after Sebastien Buemi and Anthony Davidson secured the drivers’ championship with the Japanese marque at the previous round.We’re also looking back over the Supercar Challenge season in a special review show of this popular GT series.
