LEE Payne is returning to Stoke in 2015 for a third season in the National League with the Potters.
And Payne, who took his average beyond the seven-point mark this year, will be joined at Loomer Road by new signing Ryan MacDonald, who spent his debut campaign with Scunthorpe.
Manager Malcolm Vasey said: “We are delighted with these two captures and are so pleased that both of them are anxious to be practicing at Loomer Road as soon as possible. That seems to be par for the course with the 2015 season team.
“We know exactly where we are going with the team, and looking at those other teams  already announced I expect us to be highly competitive with a team that can only improve such is their spirit and determination. I have rarely spoken to riders with more enthusiasm to do well and be so happy to come to Stoke.”

BIRMINGHAM have signed 16-year-old Alex Wilson as they prepare for their return to racing at Perry Barr in 2015.
Wilson impressed in Sheffield’s Tiger Cubs development side last season, being named rider of the year, and will now step up to regular National League racing for the first time.
Brummies spokesman Phil Morris said: “He's recently purchased some equipment off Niels-Kristian Iversen who is one of the top riders in the world. Alex has stepped up a gear since getting that and is currently joint first place with Cradley’s Luke Harris in the winter amateur series, finishing second in the last round ahead of some good quality National League riders in the process.
“He also got one of the fastest race times and this shows his speed on the bike is good. He's a very level headed lad with a good family backing him and I'm again confident he will do a good job for the Brummies.”
