UK Rally Signing Off

UK Rally, promoters of the MSA British Rally Championship between 2005 and 2014 would like to extend its sincere thanks and best wishes to all the sponsors, event organisers, competitors and teams, volunteer officials and marshals that have been pivotal in creating a vibrant and extremely competitive world renowned rally series that has produced some of the finest up and coming young drivers and co-drivers for a generation.

"I have enjoyed every moment in my Championship role that started in 2002 as Championship Manager and I am extremely proud of what we achieved, culminating in an incredible two wheel drive series in 2013. I can look back confident in the knowledge that our strategy was well regarded, especially outside of the UK. We can be proud in the knowledge that we delivered on every single one of our objectives, including increasing the media investment, our key aim to provide close competition and create a pool of real up and coming talent, said series boss Mark Taylor.

It would be unfair to single anyone out, but I must pay tribute to my fellow directors who invested their own money in support of the vision, my staff who have been a real pleasure to work with and the championship sponsors without whom, we would not have achieved the level of re-investments that we did. To the volunteers and everyone involved, I would like to pass on my very best wishes for the future - thank you."

The MSA's commercial arm, International Motorsport Services were awarded the promoters contract and whilst declined to run a championship in 2015, intend to return the BRC to the UK's sporting calendar for the 2016 season.
