RYE House have moved for former British Under-21 Champion Robert Branford to head up their National League team this season.Branford, who will also be racing for Edinburgh in the Premier League, is returning to the sport after a year out whilst the Raiders have also signed club asset Sam Woods after spells on loan with Kent, Mildenhall and Scunthorpe.Boss Andrew Silver said: “In just one meeting at Kent Rob gained my respect beyond just being everyone’s friend. Northern-based, coming down south regularly to get rides, he had a quality I liked. He’s a burly rider who is not afraid to get stuck in and his progress was quick, probably due to his keenness to get involved. Obviously he went on to become British Under-21 champion, which is a far cry from my original impression of him as a mechanic! “Sam can do an excellent job for us, and has some experience which will hopefully prove valuable. Different riders need different things to elevate their game. I have watched Sam for over a year now and I reckon he will find just what he needs at Rye to further his career.”

PLEASE NOTE: The 2015 SCB regulations will be available as a download on www.scbgb.co.uk from Wednesday February 18, together with an important notice for all riders, which will detail the changes applicable for this season.
