88 stunning classic cars entered into first Classic Car Auctions sale

An amazing 88 classic cars will be available for you to buy in the first ever Classic Car Auctions sale, which takes place this Tuesday, 3rd March at Silverstone Circuit.

Held at the world famous Silverstone race circuit, the auction will take place in the iconic Formula 1 pit garages.

A special charity lot will also be going under the hammer, a 1988 Reliant Rialto Van, with all proceeds donated to the Mercia MS Trust.

You can view the cars from 9am, with the auction starting at 2pm. To purchase a car, the buyer’s fee is just six per cent.

Quentin Willson, widely respected presenter of Channel 5’s The Classic Car Show, will be hosting the first auction. Hammering away the first lot, he will also be sharing his tips on how to buy a classic car at auction in a special talk at 1.30pm.

Offered for sale is a 2.5L 1989 mercedes 190E Cosworh 2.5 16 AUTO automatic that has been with the current owner for the last year. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 97 / 135.


Purchased new by Lord Litchfield, unusual specification with automatic transmission. Service invoices totalling £11,200. 16 stamps in service book from Mercedes main dealers plus 10 stamps from Mercedes specialistsCylinder head re-ground, valves re ground with new valve guides at 139000 miles, timing chain replaced at 147000 miles.
