(SPEEDWAY 1)LAKESIDE have named Andreas Jonsson as their new captain for the 2015 Elite League season.The Swedish superstar is making his return to British Speedway with the Hammers and will lead the team with Richard Lawson retaining his role as vice-captain.Jonsson’s first match as skipper will be on March 20 in the Rico Spring Classic when his side take on a Lee’s All Stars line-up in tribute to former captain Lee Richardson.Hammers promoter Jon Cook said: “AJ was delighted to accept the position and we believe his all-round attributes on and off the track will inspire his team mates and be worth extra points when it counts.”
