GP3 Series testing at Estoril saw the start of Trident's collaboration with the new drivers, Artur and Oscar, and to consolidate the good work done with Luca over the winter.The team showcased a good baseline to work on in terms of the cars. During the two days, the team conducted and completed most of the scheduled work.Giacomo Ricci: "We are leaving Estoril with good results in the bag and a large amount of data to be analyzed before being back on-track. The next test will be on the 9th an 10th of April at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Luca, who joined Trident in 2014, lined-up for the test following a work programme established over the winter. The modifications made on the car gave the team a chance to collect valuable informations that will be soon analyzed in order to provide the drivers with even more competitive cars. Luca was able to stay among the frontrunners for the whole time at Estoril, confirming his skills and class against the highly-competitive GP3 Series pack.
OSCAR TUNJO

Oscar showcased his skills straight away, scoring the fastest lap in the AM segment of the first day. His really professional approach to driving, and his precise and accurate style, enabled him to understand the behaviour of his Pirelli tires easily. The Colombian racer's work went on without major hiccups, except for some throttle issues experienced during the AM segment of Day 2. The problem was quickly solved and Oscar ended the last day in 11th with a wide margin of improvement.

The two days of testing marked Artur's debut at the Estoril circuit and with Trident. As a consequence, the Polish racer spent his time on-track adapting the car to his driving style, despite being on a completely new racetrack for him. Although he faced some expected troubles, he and the team were able to complete part of the work required by the Technical staff, collecting a good feedback that will definitely be useful in the future. The amount of work done improved session after session, and Artur ended up the third day with a valuable 9th place.
