THE draw has been made for the British Under-21 semi-final at Mildenhall on Sunday April 5.Nine places are up for grabs as riders look to secure their place in the Final at Coventry just nine days later.The first race of the day will feature home duo Jack Kingston and Connor Mountain, along with Eastbourne’s Marc Owen and Cradley’s Luke Harris. Max Clegg, Nathan Greaves and Ben Morley, who all have Premier League team places this season, ride at Nos.5, 6 and 16 respectively.GB Youth boss Neil Vatcher said: “With nine places available to qualify for the prestigious British Under-21 Final, it’s bound to be an exciting afternoon with all 16 riders keen to get through.”DRAW: 1. WOLVERHAMPTON got their 2015 campaign off to a spectacular start with Chris Harris eventually prevailing in the Banks’s Olympique Classic at Monmore Green.Supporters were treated to some blockbuster action after the long winter break, with Coventry skipper Harris putting in a vintage display to claim the top prize.Having prevailed in a scintillating battle with Freddie Lindgren in Heat 10 to establish himself as the early frontrunner, he brilliantly blasted from third to first in Heat 19 to climb to the top of the rostrum.Whilst Harris emerged victorious, several riders battled for second place with Rory Schlein eventually claiming the runners-up position following a three-man run-off, finishing ahead of home men Ricky Wells and Freddie Lindgren.Wells said: “It was a really good way for me to start the season, I wish I could have got the win but to get on the podium is good.“I enjoy riding here, I’m glad to be back and it was a good night. Hopefully I can take plenty of positives from it and go on to have a good start to the season.”

BUXTON have extended their team sponsorship deal with Addison Engineering into a third successive season.And company boss Alan Bird is excited about the Hitmen’s prospects for the new National League campaign.He said: “We love the set-up at Buxton and the approach that Jayne and Richard (Moss) take to National League Speedway as a proper training league. Both Di and myself were big speedway fans before we agreed to sponsor the team.
