Motors TV Weekend Highlights 28,29 March

Spring is here, people! The clocks are going forward this weekend and we’re officially in British Summer Time. What better way to celebrate than with some fantastic live coverage on the High Speed Television Channel?They say the early bird catches the worm, but if worms don’t tickle your fancy we’ve got full live coverage from round two of V8 Supercars at the crack of dawn on Saturday and Sunday. Can’t face the early morning alarm? Not to worry, we’re also showing replays throughout the weekend!James Courtney leads the way in Australia’s premier touring car championship ahead of the Symmons Plains event, but at this early stage in the season it really is all to play for. Tune in (at your preferred time of day) to catch all the wheel-to-wheel action from Tasmania.There’s even more live racing for you from the opening round of the new-for-2015 TCR International Series. This global touring car championship pits 300bhp machinery against each other at some of the world’s most famous tracks, including Formula 1 venues Shanghai and Marina Bay. Round one comes from the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.Every now and again we like to get back to grass-roots motorsports by hosting and broadcasting some of the UK’s best club racing with Motors TV Live Racedays. We’ll be showing all the action as-it-happens from the first of these made-for-television events from Silverstone on Sunday afternoon.With rounds one and two of the FIM MX2 & MXGP done and dusted, the teams and riders now head to picturesque Argentina for the third instalment of the global motocross series. So far this season Belgian superstar Clement Desalle tops the riders’ standings ahead of reigning world champion Tony Cairoli. But with eight titles already under his belt, the Italian stallion will be pushing the boundaries in Neuquen to regain the lead en route to championship number nine.We’ve also got highlights from the first V de V Endurance Series event of 2015, which takes place in Barcelona. For those who are new to V de V, this pan-European championship features a mix of modern and historic sportscars in competitive endurance and sprint races, and is well worth a watch!And in case you missed out on any of last week’s live action, we’ll be giving you the opportunity to catch up with coverage from the iconic 12 Hours of Sebring and petrolheads’ dream event, the 73rd Goodwood Members Meeting.
