BSI Speedway welcomes electrical experts Hager as they become an event associate sponsor of the 2015 British FIM Speedway Grand Prix.
Hager have already underlined their passion for motorsport by backing the Paul Bird Motorsport (PBM) British Superbike team, led by record breaking and reigning British Superbike champion Shane “Shakey” Byrne.
And they have taken that love of two-wheeled action from the tarmac to the shale for the iconic SGP race taking place in Cardiff on July 4.
Bruce Davies, Hager UK managing director, sees their venture into speedway as a good move into another popular sport with great family appeal.
He explained: “The exposure and coverage which we receive from PBM and the British Superbike series is exceptional.
“We want to build on this and expand our reach to a wider audience and the British SGP is the perfect vehicle for us to do that. The core of our business is based in Europe and this matches with the SGP footprint well.
“We are a family-owned company and this fits very well with the family sport of speedway. We are increasing our brand exposure and presence via motorsport as we understand that this is a good match with our target audience.”
BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy said: “It’s great to have a new sponsor on board and we look forward to showing them the benefits of being involved in the series and in our flagship event at Cardiff.
“The value of being involved in the whole event at the Millennium Stadium in addition to the TV exposure is huge. There’s no doubt Hager will profit from this tremendous platform to promote their products.”
