In recognition of his team's tenth British title and the part they played in guiding Shane 'Shakey' Byrne to a record breaking fourth MCE British Superbike Championship last year, the producers of the latest film in the series, I, Superbiker - Split Second, have commissioned an additional exclusive screening in Paul Bird's home town of Penrith to mark the achievement.

Team owner Paul Bird, riders Shane Byrne, Stuart Easton and Ian Hutchinson as well as other members of the PBM Motorsport Team will be in attendance and the championship winning bike on display at the Alhambra Cinema in Penrith to screen the film for one night only on Tuesday 14th April from 7.00pm.

Having opened to favourable reviews following the premiere in London last month, including the Daily Telegraph's 'compelling viewing', the film captures the 'War for Four' titles between Britain's Shane 'Shakey' Byrne and Japanese ace Ryuichi Kiyonari as well as the stories that made the 2014 season. The film features previously unseen footage from behind the scenes, incredible onboard footage and the adrenalin-filled race action to its dramatic conclusion, narrated by triple BSB Champion Niall Mackenzie.
