Fuel Protect New Porsche Club Championship Title Sponsor

Fuel Protect will be the title sponsor of the 2015 Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli, with Andeva Underwriting Agency Ltd’s new insurance product appearing on the windscreen header of every car for the 14-race, seven meeting season. Under its new title of the Fuel Protect Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli, the highly competitive series will continue to provide close exciting race action not only for spectators at some of the country’s leading circuits but for viewers on Motors TV where the races feature in scheduled stand-alone programmes.

Fuel Protect has been launched by Andeva Underwriting Agency Ltd to address the risk of mis-fuelling incidents, substantially minimising both costs and consequences, and provides cover for just £20 a year. Under Fuel Protect’s insurance, Auto Fuel Fix specialists race to the scene, drain the contaminated fuel and ensure that the vehicle can be restarted to continue its journey with minimum inconvenience, waiting time, costs and further damage.

“We have been involved with the Porsche Club Championship for years,” says Auto Fuel Fix MD Bruce Compton, “as our AFF Racing Porsche participated in the races. It made sense, for us, to celebrate the launch of Fuel Protect by becoming even more involved with the racing series and secure the title sponsorship.”

“We are pleased to welcome Fuel Protect as title sponsor of the Fuel Protect Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli,” says Porsche Club Motorsport’s Steve Kevlin. “Fuel Protect and the Porsche Club Championship are a good fit. They offer the services of a roadside fuel evacuation service in the event that an insured driver mistakenly puts the wrong fuel in their car. The involvement of Fuel Protect ensures the championship will be televised in full during the 2015 season.”

The 2015 Fuel Protect Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli kicks off at Brands Hatch on May 2nd with the first two 25-minute races of the season, taking in races at Silverstone, Donington Park, a return visit to Brands Hatch to sample the full Grand Prix version of the circuit, Snetterton, Oulton Park before the final rounds at Croft in North Yorkshire on September 26th. Run by the motorsport arm of Porsche Club GB and featuring three classes of race-prepared Porsche sportscars, the series has been for many seasons one of the leading club motorsport series in the UK.
