The Auto GP roster is growing as two new names will be lining-up next weekend at Budapest. Driving for Virtuosi UK at the Hungaroring venue will be Johnny Cecotto Jr. The 25-year-old, Venezuelan, will be partnering Russian Nikita Zlobin.
Another fresh new talent will be a 16-year-old Italian rookie, Leonardo Pulcini. Based in Rome, he will join Facu Regalia at FMS Racing. Cecotto already has a long and prestigious career to rely on and he was also a test and reserve driver for Toro Rosso in Formula 1. From 2009 to 2014, Johnny was among the main characters of the GP2 Series. Last year, he finished fifth in standings for Trident Racing. Pulcini has had a shorter driving experience so far although he achieved considerable success in international go-kart racing. Last year, he entered the Italian Formula 4 championship, ending up in fourth place and securing eight podium finishes on the way for Euronova Racing.
Cecotto and Pulcini will bring Auto GP with a great mix of youth and experience, assuring a quality show: in Budapest the series will race alongside the FIA WTCC, and the coverage will be provided live by the Eurosport network. Race 1 will be televised on Eurosport 2 Saturday at 12:35, while Race 2 will go underway on Sunday at 12:10, on Eurosport International. Live timing and info: www.autogp.net.
Cecotto jr. will be at his Auto GP comeback: "I'm delighted to be back in the series promoted by Enzo Coloni, as I raced there before it became Auto GP and I have great memories. I can't wait to line-up at Budapest and compete against some of the stars of racing in an high-performance car. I'm sure this will be a really exciting weekend".

Leonardo Pulcini is eager to make his debut at Budapest: "I'm excited for this new adventure in Auto GP, with a new car, lots of horsepower and a track I don't know yet. I want to take the best out of this opportunity. I'll try to adapt myself as much as I can to the car and racetrack, and my aim is to be fast straight away".
