For the first Auto GP event of 2015 Pizzonia (Zele) took the pole position at the Hungaroring.
The 34 yr old Brazilian was the quickest during Q2 with a pole time of 1’33”375.
The ex Bmw – Williams F1 driver’s time was nearly half a second ahead of Facundo Regalia in P2, after the argentinian from FMS Racing had beaten the Brazilian in Q1.
Definitely on top of the rookies was young Leonardo Pulcini from Team FMS Racing, owned by Ivone Pinton. Following his second position during FP2 the 16yr old driver has taken third position in Q1 and in Q2.
Another driver from Zele Racing, the Angolan Sa Silva, took fourth position just head of another young talent Zlobin Jr, the 19 yr old from Moscow racing with Virtuosi UK. Closing the classification Q2 results Von Grunigen, Cecotto and Cipriani. The Venezuelan had issues with his gearbox, while the Italian spun.
