2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia

A modern supercar that has covered a miniscule 85km from new. Incredibly rare, it is presented in its original colour of Grigio Medio 791 with an unusual interior in full Alcantara red leather. What’s more, this particular Scuderia is, to date, the only one made by Ferrari in that exterior and interior combination.

Registration: Un-registeredChassis Number: ZFFKZ64B000167377Engine Number: 149295Number of cylinders: 8CC: 4308Year of Manufacture: 2009Estimate (£): 230,000 - 250,000

Serving as the successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia was unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Designed to compete with cars like the Porsche RS and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera (super light weight), it is lighter by 100 kg and more powerful, 503bhp at 8500 rpm, than the standard F430. The increased power output stems from a revised intake, re designed exhaust and an ion sensing knock detection system that allows for a higher compression ratio resulting in the weight-to-power ratio being reduced from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp. In addition to the weight saving measures, the Scuderia semi automatic transmission gained an improved "Superfast" software system known as "Superfast 2", creating faster 60 millisecond gearshift times and a new traction control system combined the F1-Trac traction and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential. The Ferrari 430 Scuderia accelerates from 0-100 kilometres per hour (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 202 miles per hour (325 km/h). Ferrari claims that around their test track, Fiorano Circuit, it matches the Ferrari Enzo, and the Ferrari F430's successor, the Ferrari 458.

Presented in its original colour of Grigio Medio 791 (this paint colour was offered by Ferrari in the 1950s and 60s) with an unusual interior in full Alcantara red leather, this Scuderia is, to date, the only one made by Ferrari in that exterior / interior combination.

The car also comes with its full Ferrari tool kit, books, original cover and the impressive VIP PASSPORT. Although this vehicle has never been registered, it has service records indicating that the last inspection was done in February 2015 at a cost of 1,200 Euros without VAT and photographs of this inspection are available.

The new price of this beautiful car was approximately 270.000 Euros, with an impressive list of options (listed below) adding roughly another 65,000 Euros to the base price.Below is the specification of this F430 Scuderia.

1975 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Coupe

Collectors after a Porsche will not be disappointed by the 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Coupe. With just one owner from new, this highly original UK right-hand drive example represents an exciting restoration project for Porsche collectors, as very rarely do cars of this nature and originality come onto the market. The beautifully thin Lime Green Metallic finish has faded almost down to bare metal and is a joy to behold in detail. The car has covered just 55,450 miles, and is believed to be one of only 117 examples produced in right-hand drive.

Registration: NWP224PChassis Number: 9115600513Engine Number: 6650704Number of cylinders: 6CC: 2687ccYear of Manufacture: 1975Estimate (£): 95,000 - 110,000

The Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Coupe was introduced in 1974 on the new G-Series chassis that was built to appease ever stricter US regulations for crash worthiness. The floor pans were strengthened, lighting was improved and larger bumpers incorporated. With an impressive 210 bhp, 2,687 cc Type 911/83 air-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, 0-60 was achieved in just over 5 seconds and gearing was good for 150mph through a 5-speed manual transmission. The suspension was fully independent with torsion bars, McPherson struts and anti roll bars. The total weight was just over 1,075 kilograms, which made the Euro-spec 2.7 MFI a very fast car in its day. In fact, it was the fastest production 911 until the late 1980s. In total, 1,647 Euro-spec MFI Carrera coupes were built during this three year run, along with 631 Targas, with total production figures not vastly outnumbering that of the original 1973 Carrera RS.Offered here is an original right-hand drive UK supplied Carrera MFI Coupe that was sold new to its first, and current, owner on 13th November 1975 by Swinford Motors of Stourbridge. It has covered a total mileage of 55,450 miles from new and is presented in highly original order. This sunroof-equipped model is believed to be one of one hundred and seventeen examples produced for delivery in all nations requiring right-hand drive. Currently, there are only 48 right-hand drive cars listed with the Carrera Registry, however, far fewer than that were delivered to the UK as many were sold to Japan and Australia. This example represents an exciting restoration project for any Porsche collector,as very rarely do cars of this nature and originality come onto the market. The body shell has never been welded and the car has never been restored or seen paint. The beautifully thin Lime Green Metallic finish has faded almost down to bare metal and is a joy to behold in detail. There are some visible signs of rust on the bodywork, specifically to the rear wings and sills. However, the floors appear sound and the bonnet compartment and engine bay are structurally very sound. The interior is complete and untouched from new. The car was last taxed in 2008 and it has been SORN since. From 1975 until 2008 the car was maintained exclusively by respected Porsche specialist Chris Best from Two-Plus-Two. There are five service stamps in the book and many invoices for work carried out over the years. The only mechanical alteration to this vehicle has been the addition of stainless steel exchangers for the heating system. The history file is complete with original wallet, service manuals and ownership paraphernalia. There are even letters between the current owner and the supplying dealer in 1975. Sold strictly as seen, we welcome any inspection of this fascinating piece of UK Porsche history.

Chassis Number: 26103530Engine Number: 26106279Number of cylinders: 4CC: 2000ccYear of Manufacture: 1952A restored Series 1 80 inch in concours condition direct from Ken Wheelwright, the master restorer. When Maurice Wilks, Rover's chief designer, came up with a plan to produce a light agricultural utility vehicle in 1947 he would have no idea that his design would become an icon and launch a whole new industry sector. The original Land Rover was presented in sage green with a canvas roof and revolutionised rural transport. As an engineering marvel it can still outstrip its modern counterparts, and the Series I rightly belongs in the Motoring Hall of Fame. Hugely successful globally, improvements were made throughout the production run. In 1950 the lights moved from a position behind the grill to protrude through the grill and in 1952 a larger 2.0 litre petrol engine replaced the original 1.6 litre. One man who has come to be known as the leading authority on early Land Rovers, and indeed the go-to restorer for leading collectors and Land Rover themselves, is Ken Wheelwright. Working from his Yorkshire farm, Ken's restorations include three early pre-production prototype Land Rovers, two Tickford Station Wagons, the first Automobile Association restored 80 inch now on display at the Coventry Motor Museum and a Tickford Land Rover for the British Heritage Motor Museum. Four other vehicles are in a German museum collection, along with an exact replica of a Land Rover factory Transporter which took two years to build from archive pictures only. The most notable of Ken's achievements came when he was chosen as one of the Land Rover factory's preferred restorers, having supplied them with two Series I Land Rovers in dark bronze green that have featured on television programmes worldwide.

As a testament to his unsurpassable reputation Ken was commissioned by Land Rover to restore Stephen Wilks' Series IIA Land Rover which had been presented to his father Maurice on his retirement from the Rover Company in 1965. This vehicle now forms part of Land Rover's own heritage collection, joining Ken's other restored Land Rovers. As befits the work of a no nonsense Yorkshireman we will end the superlatives here and move on to the Land Rover itself. Originally supplied by the Grosvenor Motor Company of Rhyl, Flintshire to Roger Hughes & Co Ltd, Civil Engineers of Colwyn Bay, North Wales to be used by their site engineer.

When Ken became the Land Rover's third owner he undertook a full nut and bolt restoration, so comprehensive that it would require a full page to list everything that was done. A brief summary includes the galvanising of the original chassis, painted in the period correct deep bronze green and most original components reconditioned. When some parts were found to be beyond repair, original Land Rover new-old stock components were used. The engine was completely rebuilt at the same time and re-bored with new pistons and camshaft. In addition a new wiring loom and brake components were fitted as was a new canvas roof and bench seating for four in the rear. The odometer reads 13,824 miles at the time of consignment, and we assume it has gone ‘round the clock'.

The last Series I 80" we sold realised £38,250, including premium, at the NEC Practical Classics Show in November 2014 and this example therefore offers exceptional value in a rising market....
