New associate sponsor for 2015 British FIM Speedway Grand Prix

West Country building services engineers MCS Ltd have boosted their involvement in the speedway world after becoming associate sponsors of the 2015 British FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff on July 4.

MCS Ltd, with offices in Bristol and Swansea, have been involved in the shale sport for eight years. With a huge crowd expected at the Millennium Stadium and a large global audience set to tune in around the world, BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy is confident MCS Ltd will benefit from an ideal platform to promote their services. He said: “It’s great to be introducing another sponsor with a background in motorsport sponsorship to the British SGP.

“We’re delighted they will benefit from being part of one of the sport’s biggest nights and it’s very fitting that a West Country company is playing its part in the Cardiff spectacle.

“We hope everyone from MCS Ltd has a great night at the British SGP and enjoys the brand promotion and hospitality that comes with it.”

Commenting on the deal, MCS Ltd operations director, Sean Roebuck, said: “MCS Ltd have been sponsoring various speedway riders since 2007. It started when we sponsored James Wright when he rode for Swindon and we have been involved ever since.

“We also sponsor a couple of British longtrack riders and Alex Morgan who races cars on the European GT circuit.

“We’ve been involved in speedway for eight years, but we felt it was time to step things up a level. What better way to do that than with the biggest speedway event in the world … the British SGP.

“It has a great following, worldwide TV coverage and we get the chance to affiliate with big household brand names such as Monster Energy.

“The SGP series is a great product and we relish the opportunity to be involved with the biggest occasion on the speedway calendar, which is also right on our doorstep.”
