It has been a good week-end for DAV Racing in Estoril, for the third 2015 EuroFormula Open round. Since the collective testing of Thursday Leonardo Pulcini showed a great potential, getting every session closer to the top, reducing constantly the gap. The same pace has been showed in the Friday’s Free Practices when Pulcini brought his Dallara F312 to the 3rd place. On the qualifying of Saturday Leonardo achieved 4th row on the starting grid, with the chance to improve using better the new-tires. In race one Pulcini passed the finished line in 5th place, but he was penalized 10 seconds due didn’t respect yellow flags. It meant to lose also the victory in the Rookie classification. On Sunday race Leonardo recover since the 9th place on the grid after a good race to the 5th position, best Rookie.

Except from Le Castellet, we won first race in Jerez and here we’re able to stay constantly in Top-5 and winning the Rookie Classification. In my opinion Leonardo made a big step forward compared to his first approach with this car last summer. Our target is to been able to fight for the podium also in Silverstone for the next round of the season, as in Estoril we were almost close to this goal. What we also have to do is improve a bit in the qualifying, so being in the front would help Leonardo to fight for the win”.
