Campos Racing driver was the only driver matching factory Citroën cars and tomorrow the Frenchman will start second on the grid with his Chevrolet RML of Campos. Another brilliant performance of Filippi, but Corsica´s racer will start from the back of the grid as he switched his unit

Hugo Valente has delivered another strong performance at Nürburgring- Nordschleife and France´s racer will start second in Race 1 of the World Touring Car Championship with his Campos Racing-entered Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1. Valente already proved his pace in free practice sessions and later, in qualifying, he was José María López´s closest rival. The Argentinian set a lap time of 8:37.327 with Valente taking second spot with his 8:38.579.

Corsican John Filippi, with another Chevrolet of Campos Racing, also qualified in the top ten with a lap of 8:44.632 but he has switched to the new upgraded unit. As a result Filippi will have to start from the back of the field.

Both races take place today at 11.15 and 12.15.
