MSA update: English Rally Championship

Round 4: DMACK Carlisle Stages Rally, 13 June

The father and son team of Dave and Freddy Brick fought their way to victory in the hotly contested E2 class over the challenging gravel roads in the western side of Kielder Forest.

Nick Dobson and co-driver Phil Pugh held off a late charge by Mark and Ed Bentley to score maximum points in class E5. Rhys Yates and Phil Hall were again the winners of the large E3 class, while Tony Simpson and Ian Bevan took the points in class E4.

Morgan Handford and Richard Davies were the fastest in Class E1 for standard cars up to 1400cc on stage one, but they rolled out of the event on stage two, allowing Nick Carr and Joe Sturdy to take the maximum points.
