Trident GP2 and GP3 Budapest Preview‏

BUDAPEST MARKS SEASON'S HALFWAY POINT BEFORE SUMMER BREAK

It won't be the usual weekend at Budapest. For all the drivers, including Trident's Raffaele Marciello, the GP2 Series round in Hungary will be particularly emotional. The loss of Jules Bianchi, who was a team-mate for Raffaele in the Ferrari Driver Academy, is set to add more depth to the fight for the championship and Raffaele himself, who, among others, gave his friend a last goodbye early this week at the Cathedral of Nice, will race with a black armband. It won't be easy to get back in working mood and at the pace required by a racing weekend, but the whole Trident team is ready to stand with their driver and honour Bianchi's memory. The Hungarian round will also start the second half of the 2015 GP2 Series, providing good chances for Trident to rebound a first part of the year that didn't go according to the early expectations. The goal for Budapest will be to regain the necessary consistency and be back in contention for the front end of the charts. On the other hand, the Trident GP3 Series stable is also set for a key round. After three rounds out of eight, Luca Ghiotto is the championship leader with 82 points. The Veneto-based driver is ready to try bolstering his standing position after the excellent performance put together at Barcelona, Spielberg and Silverstone. The rivals are ready to challenge, but the Trident-Ghiotto pairing has proved their potential at any track and in every possible condition. While Oscar Tunjo won't be present at Budapest, Ghiotto will be partnered by 22-year-old Polish driver Artur Janosz, who is showing consistent signs of growth race by race.  The GP2 Series will start its weekend on Friday with the running of practice which will be followed by qualifying at 15:55. Race 1 will be kicking-off on Saturday at 15:40, while Race 2 will start on Sunday at 10:35. The GP3 Series will also start  with practice on Friday, while qualifying will be held on Saturday morning at 9:45. Race 2 will take place late in the afternoon at 17:20. Race 2 will then round the weekend out at 9:25. All the race activity will be covered live by Sky network.
