With the first Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) race just under three months away, Autosport International will play host to a flurry of news from the series including driver announcements, car reveals and guest appearances to kick-start the series on the Dunlop BTCC stand.

The 2017 season will get underway on the all-new stand, situated in Hall 6 Stand 6440, where media, fans and industry professionals will be able to get up close to the latest machinery. West Surrey Racing, Motorbase Performance, Handy Motorsport and AmDTuning.com are all set to take pride of place over the course of the four-day show.

Thursday morning (12 January) will witness livery unveilings by Andrew Jordan – who will remove the wraps from his new Pirtek-branded BMW 125i M Sport – and AmD, while Motorbase is set to reveal the identity of the driver who will pilot the second of its three striking Shredded Wheat-backed Ford Focuses.

These announcements will be complemented by interviews with a whole host of BTCC drivers, key team personnel and leading figures from the championship and its partners – including series boss Alan Gow, Dunlop’s James Bailey and ITV stars – as well as regular autograph and selfie sessions, all hosted by our own incomparable compere Alan Hyde.

Reigning BTCC champion Autosport International star driver Gordon Shedden will be performing various duties around the show across all four days, including interviews on the Autosport Stage and Dunlop BTCC stand, in company with fellow champions Colin Turkington, Matt Neal and Andrew Jordan.

The Dunlop BTCC stand is just one of several areas for fans to find British Touring Car Championship love. There will be further car unveilings by Halfords Yuasa Racing on the Rimstock stand (Hall 20 Stand 2640) whilst Simpson Racing will be revealed on the Simpson Race Exhausts Stand (Hall 7 Stand 7660) on Thursday morning. Meanwhile BMR Racing and Subaru will be exhibiting the 2016 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship-challenging BMR Subaru Levorg and its road going counterpart, as well as the 300PS Subaru WRX STI performance flagship and the BRZ sports coupe and BMR Academy’s Go Karts at Stand 6000 in Hall 6.
