Racing Engineering to compete in the 2018 European Le Mans Series

Racing Engineering has announced that they will be competing in the 2018 European Le Mans Series (ELMS).
The Spanish team will be moving to the Sports Car series after competing in the FIA Formula Two Championship and its predecessor, the GP2 Series, since 2005 and in that time they have won twenty-seven races as well as winning the GP2 Drivers’ Championship in 2008 with Giorgio Pantano and 2013 with Fabio Leimer.

The European Le Mans Series was relaunched in 2013 and in the five seasons since then it has featured exciting sports car racing at such famous tracks as Monza, Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps. In this time, it has attracted the best teams and drivers with, in 2017, thirty-five cars racing across the three classes, LMP2, LMP3 and LMGTE that make up the Series.
