The Model: Born out of the Mercedes Vision SLR concept of 1999, the SLR McLaren emerged as a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren as an outgrowth of their F1 partnership. The result was a technological tour de force that brought many F1 developments to the street. The carbon-ceramic braking system boasted eight-piston calipers for the front and received assistance at high speeds from a deployable aerobrake. The SLR makes extensive use of lightweight materials yet delivers all the luxuries expected of a modern Mercedes. After releasing a mere 2,000 examples of this incredible car, Mercedes-Benz and McLaren parted ways. Most great cars spawn only one successor. The SLR gave rise to two great cars, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the McLaren MP412C.

The Car: This SLR is effectively a brand new car. With only 7,750 miles over a little more than a decade, this SLR is virtually flawless. Amenities include dual-zone air conditioning, 7-speaker Bose premium sound system and upgraded Bluetooth stereo, power adjustable seats and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. Other features include power steering, power windows, power adjusting tilt wheel, rain sensor and smart key. This car is absolutely spectacular in Crystal Laurite Silver exterior with a beautiful leather interior in 300 SL Red. Carefully stored and maintained since new, this is an incredible opportunity to secure perhaps the finest GT Supercar of the past decade.
