Ayrton Simmons and Sebastian Priaulx shared the wins in the season opener at Brands Hatch.
Simmons converted pole position into victory in the opening contest, withstanding race-long pressure from fellow front-row starter Kiern Jewiss. Dennis Hauger completed the podium.
Priaulx took victory in the second race, ahead of Simmons and Arden’s Jack Doohan. The podium finish secured Doohan his first Rookie class win.
Simmons secured a second victory in race three to leave Brands with the championship lead. Jewiss finished in second, with Finland’s Paavo Tonteri claiming his maiden podium in third place.

Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship
Rounds 1-3: Brands Hatch, 7-8 April
Jack Goff, Senna Proctor and Tom Ingram claimed a win apiece in the opening round of the series at a wet Brands Hatch circuit.
Pole-sitter Goff won the opening race after fending off Colin Turkington in a near race-long duel. Andrew Jordan fought off Dan Cammish to finish third.
Proctor overcame challenging conditions to score a maiden BTCC victory in race two. Jake Hill and Ollie Jackson finished in second and third respectively.
Ingram claimed victory in the final race after getting the better of pole-sitter Rob Austin. The Toyota driver made his move for the lead on lap 13 and never looked back – taking his first win of the season and the early championship lead. Adam Morgan and Austin completed the podium.
